Made with love, in the Scotland
Each collection is designed, developed and sampled in house by us. Every order is then lovingly cut, sewn and packaged under the same roof by Rebecca. Your garments only leave the studio when they are posted to your door. This total autonomy over the making process guarantees our garments are made responsibly and keeps our carbon footprint to a minimum.
Our fabric is digitally printed at a Lancaster based SEDEX certified printer that is committed to environmental and social responsibility. They use their machine manufacturer’s trademarked innovative direct-to-fabric Greentex pigment inks to create an Ecofast™ printing process. These inks are GOTS 5.0-certified and all their ink systems are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 compliant. By using this process they consume approximately half the water required for typical Reactive Digital Printing.
People & Production
We care about where our materials come from and the people who produce them. That’s why we audit our suppliers to ensure only fair and safe labor goes into making our materials. We make sure that all of our suppliers meet our standards on fair wages, safe working environments, social responsibility and harmless manufacturing methods.
By partnering with consultants Esce-tex to source our fabric we are able to fully trace our supply chain which allows us to understand the full ecological impact of our actions.
Materials
Parallel collection is made out of 100% Tencel.
Tencel Lyocell fibers are derived from sustainable wood sources that are harvested from certified and controlled sources in natural forests FSC certified sustainably managed plantations.
Tencel branded Lyocell fibers are known for their luxurious soft touch and natural comfort without compromising on durability. Their hypo-allergenic properties make them gentle on the skin and breathable for everyday, comfortable wear.
These fibers have gained a commendable reputation for their award winning and environmentally responsible closed loop production process, which transforms wood pulp into cellulosic fibers with high resource efficiency and low ecological impact. This solvent-spinning process recycles the water used and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of more than 99%, with the entirety of this production process powered by renewables. Certified as compostable and biodegradable the fibers can fully revert back to nature therefore ensuring that your fashion choices are not only kind on you but on the environment too.

When it came to sourcing our Tencel we partnered with fabric consultancy Esce-Tex. Their unmatched dedication to supplying expertise on sourcing sustainable materials and providing accessible reports on each fabric means we have an in-depth, transparent understanding of every process our fabric production has undergone. From the origin of the fibre to the credentials of the Mill.
The fabric report for our Medium Weight 100% Tencel can be found here.
The piping in our Parallel collection is made out of organic cotton.
The thread used throughout our garments is 100% Tencel.
Currently our zips are made out of nylon, we realise this is not sustainable and are looking into sourcing a better alternative that aligns with our values and requirements.
